Perfectly imperfect

Perfectly imperfect

Today, at a bit of a loose end, I rewatched "Martha", the Netflix documentary on Martha Stewart - entrepreneur, mogul and visionary - and was once again bowled over by the perfectionist approach which Martha took to everything she did.  Perfectly perfect was the standard she pursued in her work and seemingly in all other areas of her life too.  The programme made me reflect on the standards we adopt in our own lives and how we often chase golden goals that are unrealistic and unachievable.

When we decided to refine Mega Mane's brand image, we thought long and hard about how best to convey a beauty ethos that would stand out amidst a sea of products promising perfect hair.  Our goal was for our customers to experience results that made them feel better in themselves.  To help them attain not idealised perfection but a realistic and achievable standard of hair health and wellbeing...thicker hair, shinier hair, longer hair.

We cannot and would not wish to make false or misleading claims about what Mega Mane can deliver but the testimonies of our customers are honest representations of real life experiences.  We have received incredible feedback from individuals who have been delighted to see improvement, not perfection and in the coming weeks and months we will turn the spotlight on some of our amazing customers, bringing their stories to the fore.

In the meantime, the Mega Mane community will continue to embrace the concept of perfectly imperfect because as Martha herself admits at the end of the documentary, "imperfection...is something that you can deal with".
